FOWS - Friends of Wortham School
Friends of Wortham school, is the fundraising charity for the school, made up of a committee of parents and volunteer parents & teachers. We collaborate with parents, teachers and the wider community to raise funds to support, enhance and compliment the children’s learning environment.
The charity provides supports in a variety of ways including educational workshops, school trips, classroom resources and outdoor additions for the forest school. Some of the activity that FOW’s has supported over the years include:
- Educational workshops
- Forest school equipment
- Library books
- Smartboards for classrooms
- Laptops
- Buses to school trips
- School leavers hoodies
- Additional resources for classrooms, including maths puzzles
- Sports equipment
